Need for Standardisation of Care for Pancreatic Cancer: Docs

An expert committee of the International Summit on Laparoscopic Pancreatic Surgeries will work for standardisation of care for pancreatic cancer for surgeons worldwide, a senior doctor has said.

“Some 35 world leaders in this speciality, including from Japan, Korea, the US, and UK, are discussing about the possibility to create a standardised technique for surgeries for pancreatic cancer,” Organising Chairman of the Summit and Director of Gem Hospital Dr C Palanivelu told reporters here last night on the sidelines of the four-day Summit.
