I’m Going to Live Every Day

pancreatic cancer survivor Sharon Simone and her husband
When Sharon Simone found that her pancreatic cancer had spread throughout her abdomen, she decided that she could give up everything but her family.

She found a doctor she trusted to work with and got a second opinion, which led to a treatment protocol that accounted for her BRCA1 mutation. During treatment, Sharon didn’t know whether she would live or die, but she made a choice to live every day.

Read Sharon’s story in “Tailoring My Treatment to My Tumor Genetics.”
