Miggie Olsson’s doctors gave her three to six months after her stage IV pancreatic cancer diagnosis in 2006.

But Miggie wasn’t willing to accept that answer. She found an oncologist who put her in a small study. Her tumors shrunk, and she was able to have surgery to remove the cancer, although she needed further treatment a year later. Now Miggie volunteers her time, helping others who face cancer.
