As a nurse, Lisa Tayman knew all about pancreatic cancer, so she was devastated by her own diagnosis of a pancreatic neuroendocrine tumor in 2019.

Her surgeon reassured her that she would be okay, and she was until 2023, when she had a recurrence. After a difficult recovery from surgery, she worked hard to regain her strength and has even run a half-marathon. With a young family, Lisa remains focused on the future.
