When Bill Shrieves was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2010, he realized that information was hard to find on Maryland’s Eastern Shore, where he lives.

He and his wife founded the Mid-Shore Pancreatic Cancer Foundation to provide support for pancreatic cancer patients in his rural area.
