When her husband Ryan was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer at age 36, Brooke Dwars decided it was time to take charge.

While Ryan dealt with treatment, as his caregiver Brooke handled everything else. She researched treatments, clinical trials, and managed family life. After a clinical trial altered Ryan’s tumor genetics, he became a candidate for immunotherapy.
