Austin’s Mitzvah Project

Let’s Win was founded by Anne after she was diagnosed with stage IV pancreatic cancer in 2014, shortly after I was born. After learning how difficult it was to find information about treatment options, she created Let’s Win to help other patients find reliable information about new research and treatment options.

I wanted to choose a cause that had a personal connection to me while also supporting people who are affected by the disease.

Pancreatic cancer is one of the deadliest types of cancer. About 67,000 people in the United States are expected to be diagnosed with it in 2026, and more than 52,000 are expected to die from it. The five-year survival rate is only about 13%, which shows why more research and better treatments are needed.

Donations to Let’s Win help the organization provide medically reviewed information about new treatments, clinical trials, and pancreatic cancer research. I think supporting this work is important because there is still so much that researchers need to learn about pancreatic cancer. My goal with this project is to help support research and resources that could give people with pancreatic cancer better options and hope for the future.
