Cindy Price Gavin brings to Let’s Win over 25 years of professional experience in the nonprofit and financial services fields. Prior to joining Let’s Win, Cindy was the founding Executive Director of Michael’s Mission, a 501(c) 3 organization focused on improving the quality of life and treatment options for patients struggling with colorectal cancer.

In her role as the Executive Director, Cindy was instrumental in the growth of Michael’s Mission and was directly responsible for program development, fund raising and day-to-day operations. Under her leadership, Michael’s Mission launched a comprehensive, user-friendly web-based platform. She was instrumental in identifying and funding relevant research initiatives, and was critical in securing a grant to develop a specific skin-management program for patients dealing with the debilitating side effects of targeted therapies.

Prior to joining Michael’s Mission, Cindy was a Partner in PricewaterhouseCooper’s New York Financial Services assurance practice and led many of the firm’s initiatives in the areas of People, Quality and Corporate Responsibility. In 2011, Cindy was nominated by PwC to receive the United Way, The Power of Women to Make a Difference Award.

Cindy served as a trustee for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (“LLS”) since 1999, as well as the PwC Foundation. Cindy was recently invited to join the board of the Ronald McDonald House of New York and serves on the Leadership Council of the East Harlem Tutorial Program and The Basser Center for BRCA.

Over the past eighteen years, Cindy has participated in twenty marathons with Team in Training (“TNT”) and has served as the Captain of numerous Corporate TNT Teams which have raised significant funds for LLS. In May 2016, Cindy was honored at the LOL for LLS event for her commitment as a board member, advocate and champion of LLS.
