In Memory of Dean Elliott

Gone too soon, our beloved larger-than-life Dean.
Dean Elliott, the founder of the beloved lubricant brand Sliquid, passed away at 59 after a hard fought battle with pancreatic cancer. He is survived by his wife/partner Cynthia, children Lukas and London, sister Doriane, and nephew Bodhi.
Born in New York City, Dean came from an entertainment family—his father was a jazz musician and his mother an actress and business manager. In the ’80s, he worked as a bouncer at iconic nightclubs like Studio 54 and The Roxy, later finding his own fame as the voice of Atlantic Records and in voiceover roles for brands like Volvo, WWF, and AMC Theaters.
In the ’90s, Dean expanded his career into reality TV logistics before transitioning to the lubricant industry. Disappointed with the lack of transparency in ingredients, he founded Sliquid, aiming for a cleaner, greener product. Starting with just a small office and a car trunk full of products, he quickly gained orders and built a legacy.
Dean’s larger-than-life personality, love for people, and advocacy for women’s, animal, and human rights made him a force for good. His family requests donations to Let’s Win in his memory in the hopes that one day we can kick pancreatic cancers *ss!
