Abnormal metabolism of hyaluronan (HA), a major component of extracellular matrix, is a hallmark of cancer. Our previous studies have shown the importance of enzymes responsible for HA degradation in the aggressive phenotype of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC).
