Nurse Helps Develop New Pancreatic Cancer App

Next month a specialist nurse from the East Midlands will see the launch of a smartphone app for pancreatic cancer patients that she has helped develop.

The new cancer information application called My Pancreas is to be launched on 1 September by the hepato-pancreato-biliary unit at Leicester General Hospital.

Created with the help of the design agency AGF Studio, it will be made available for the public on Apple’s app store for iPhone and iPad.

The app described as a “dedicated information guide on pancreatic cancer” is among the first of its kind to be released in the UK. Read more . . .
